Peter Quince's A Midsummer Night's Dream
Our inaugural production was a reworking of Shakespeare's classic, shifting the focus onto the amateur theatre company, the Mechanicals, as they prepare to perform their play The Four Athenian Lovers. Our Dream follows their creative process and relationship struggles as the play they are working on becomes more real than expected.

Who We Are
Savvy Cat developed when Jacob gathered a group of friends, and friends-of-friends, most of whom were recent grads itching to make more theatre, and all of whom wanted to create art together in a way that interested them. Theater gains a special quality when it's rough and immediate, and that is what we are: rehearsing in parks, performing in backyards, and stapling posters to telephone poles. We hope to see you at the next show!
